Italian American Club of Sebastian
The IAC Motorcycle Group began in September 2008 with about 8 IAC members who ride and wanted to form a touring group that would assist the IAC in fund-raising and comradery.

The Officers for 2011 are:

Peter T. Puzzo-Director
Suzanne Richards-Secretary
Beverly Puzzo-Treasurer

The group continues to grow (see latest newsletter below for updated count) each month.  We took on the raising of funds for the Children's Christmas Party this year and in a very short 3 months handed in more than $450 to the IAC.  We were active in the 9-11 Ceremony, members funerals, and community participation in the American Legion (both Sebastian & Vero Beach) Toys for Tots 2008 Campaign.

We hold a 50-50 on the last Sunday of each month (to coincide with the Monthly drawing).  Unless there is a specific fund-raiser going on the proceeds will go to the Children's Christmas Party Fund.  The tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.

February, 2012

We would like to send out a very special ‘thank you’ to John Collins as outgoing President for his terrific leadership over the past 2 years, and also to his Executive Board for dedication to this Club.  We welcome the incoming Officers and offer our support for the coming year.

On January 12, we met to discuss and plan our 2012 Group Rides.  We had several great ideas for rides and the Executive Board will be working with our Ride Captain Bob Curll to accomplish these rides.

We will be attending the Swamp Cabbage Festival in La Belle, Florida on the weekend of February 25-26…we will leave at 8:15 AM on Saturday-Feb 25, staying overnight (we are looking into the motels in the area), and return in time for the Monthly Drawing on the 26th.

We plan to visit Ichnetuckaee State Park in Crystal River (during the hot weather) so we can go tubing down the river, spending time in Flagler Beach area (possibly incorporating the Daytona Bike Week festivities), “The Bunker” (Vietnam Memorial Museum) outside Orlando, Spook Hill in Lake Wales, the Valkaria Air Show coming up this month, and our annual outing to Siesta Key.  A pretty full itinerary but it will be worth it.

During the past few months we have been selling ‘Red Shirt Friday’ tee shirts for $15.00. We have only a few left and not all sizes…so if you want one please see me or leave your name & phone number at the bar with the staff & I will get it when I stop in.

At the November meeting, we eliminated regular meetings for the Group so if you see a meeting in the IAC Newsletter, please disregard as I will post a Notice on our Bulletin Board.

If you are a member of the Club and you ride…come on down and join us.
