2009 2nd Annual 9-11 Ceremony

On the 8th anniversary the events of 911 was remembered with a ceremony at the Riverside Park of Sebastian.  Among the many organizations participating, our Italian American Club played an integral part in honoring that tragic day.

President Steve Agresti recited the Fireman's Prayer to a tear stained audience.  Several of our members came in full uniform to support the cause.  A new stone monument memorial was unveiled by our members Doug Roy & Joe Carrano and  dedicated to the victims of that day. Doug is a NY retired Fireman & Joe is a retired NY Policeman, both were at the towers that day.

Through the year long efforts of member Bill Schiffman we were honored to have a US Coast Guard Falcon Flyer pass over the ceremony to also pay homage.

We want to thank all those that participated and attended this day of remembrance and to honor the fallen
